Who Are We?

Mark and Jon started Cover4rentals out of their frustration of experiencing excessive car rental prices whilst on holiday. 
Seeing this was commonplace across the car hire industry, they set out to help other people from wasting money on expensive car hire charges, specifically “Excess Waiver” that is offered by car rental companies.

With years of experience running Eversure, their insurance business, Mark and Jon decided to use their expertise and knowledge to help people save even more money. From this Cover4rentals was born.

Dedicated to people like you, Cover4rentals is committed to reducing the cost of car rentals and providing a higher level of service through affordable hire car excess insurance.

Mark Rebuck

CO-owner

Mark Rebuck is the Co-Owner of Cover4Rentals and is a highly respected leader in the insurance sector. He has 30 years’ global experience in General Insurance and Life Insurance. He is especially focused on digitalising businesses creating better value and better service for customers. Prior to founding Cover4Rentals, Mark was Global Life Director at Aviva where his focus was developing Aviva’s
portfolio of overseas Life Insurance businesses including their Spanish business based in Madrid.
Jon Rebuck

CO-owner

Jon Rebuck is the founder and Co-Owner of Cover4Rentals and is head of Marketing and Innovation. He has spent the last 15 years using his online digital expertise creating and distributing a portfolio of insurance products. Jon comes from an IT background previously working for Morgan Stanley in London and Sydney, as well as managing IT projects and services for Zurich Insurance Services.
Joanna Rapp

Creative Director

Joanna Rapp is the creative director of Cover4Rentals and responsible for the front-end design of the websites, logos and graphics. She is a fully qualified UK architect with a background experience working in prominent architectural practices both in UK and US. She is also a talented photographer. She has a really good eye for composition, aesthetics and visual design, and she strives to create a beautiful and user friendly experience for the customers of Cover4Rentals.
Rebecca Watson

Head of Customer Services

Our Head of Customer Services, Rebecca Watson has over 15 years experience working within the UK insurance industry. With our customers at the heart of our business she prioritises customer satisfaction and always endeavours to problem solve and effectively manage customer expectations. She thrives working under pressure and enjoys the ‘buzz’ of our busy team!
Steve Crooke

CIO

Steve Crooke is the CIO at Cover4Rentals, with over 30 years delivering high quality software, bringing experience from the Market Research, Engineering and Insurance industries. When not delivering great software, Steve likes to be in the great outdoors, sailing, camping and spending time with his family.
Jordi Ruiz

Tech Lead

Jordi Ruiz has a master’s degree in Computer Science with over 15 years of experience across multiple industries: Media, Insurance, Financial Services, E-Commerce, Trading, Banking, Recruitment and Consultancy. After several years practicing agile, Jordi has embraced Continuous Delivery. For him, Continuous Delivery is the fastest way to deliver great quality software. Jordi is currently working as Tech Lead for Cover4Rentals. In his free time, Jordi enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children.

I haven’t claimed so cannot comment on their effectiveness as an insurer. However, they were one of the few to offer cover to non-UK residents.

So much cheaper then protections proposed by rental agencies And easy as you pay once for a whole year irreSpective of number of rentals

Real easy to deal with good price and will cover you in U.K. if you live in Europe
