How To Make a Claim?
Making an insurance claim can be a daunting proposition – especially if it’s never happened to you before. Luckily we try and make the process as easy and stress free as we can.
This policy works on a reimbursement basis, this means you will need to pay the rental company in the first instance for any damage, and then submit a claim to recover the charges.
Before you start your claim, make sure you have the following documents available:
- Your certificate of insurance
- The rental agreement
- Documentation from the rental company showing the charges you would like to reclaim
- Your bank or card statement showing payment to the rental company for the charges
- A copy of the lead drivers driving licence
- If a named driver was driving at the time of the incident, a copy of their driving licence
The claim process varies depending on when you purchased your policy, please choose the correct option below:
If you purchased your policy on or after 26th February 2024 and the insurer on your certificate is listed as Collinson Insurance Europe Limited then your claim will be handled by our own dedicated claims team.
If you purchased your policy before 26th February 2024 and the insurer on your certificate is listed as Strategic Insurance Services then your claim will be handled by their partner ClaimEz. You will be asked to enter your scheme code which is 20423.
